Here are a few highlights since I last posted - mostly positive, one negative but turning positive.
Firstly, Chad has been running track at Tesoro HS. His main event is the 800m which he has run in every meet. His time is really consistent and he's been trying to break the JV school record but he's been stuck at 2:12 for most of the season. The meets are really fun to attend! I don't remember my HS years being this fun! Secondly, I have had 2 beautiful nieces get married - Shea on March 1 and Amanda on March 15. I will try to get some pictures of Amanda and James posted when I can. The "no-one-saw-it-coming" news is that my sister Karen was admitted to the hospital for excrutiating intestinal pain but testing showed that a mass was found on her remaining ovary so a hysterectomy had to be performed. From that surgery, her leg was rendered useless due to nerve damage. Good news is - it is mending and she will be walking again soon. Chad and I went to Indian Wells on March 14 to watch the tennis pros play in the Pacific Life Open - we go every year - and we watch the pros play matches and practice and we get some sun while we're at it. I'll post a few of the pictures I took.

Novak Djokovic

Roger Federer - the crowds around his practice time is more than at others matches.

Maria Sharapova - one tall girl!
Andy Roddick

Me with one of Andy Roddicks practice balls.

Happy St. Patricks Day!
